Helen has been an accredited Family Mediator since 2012 and regularly supports separating couples to agree arrangements for their children and their finances which avoids the need for contested court proceedings. Helen is also a trained Collaborative Family Lawyer and founded the Gloucestershire Collaborative Family Law Pod in 2008. The Pod consists of other collaborative lawyers, financial neutrals and mediators who all work together with the separating couple to reach an agreement, again to try and avoid an expensive court battle. As a member of Resolution, Helen is committed to dignified, non-confrontational approaches to family law disputes. A solicitor with over 20 years’ experience, Helen advises clients on all aspects of divorce and separation, as well as assisting clients wishing to enter into Pre- or Post-Nuptial Agreements, or Cohabitation Agreements. Helen also leads the firm’s “Values” group which promotes BPE’s values to staff and clients.
