On the 8th October 2022 – 5 Employee’s from Cosgrove & Drew will be joining The Footprints Foundation on their annual trip to South Africa to assist with the Project they have planned for this year.
The Mission of the Foundation can be read below;
“The Footprints Foundation aims to tackle the problems and issues facing disadvantaged and vulnerable young and elderly people, and those people with significant health issues. We aim to support these people during the most trying periods of their lives and help give them the strength and confidence to enjoy a fulfilled life. South Africa | The Footprints Foundation
Plans are in Place for the construction of a 28m long building, providing a number of new classrooms to a school within a local Community. The 5 of us will be putting on our labouring boots to assist (where we can!) in the construction of the building.
We will also spend time visiting some of the Orphanages the Foundation support and helping out at the Food Station the foundation fund in the area.
The Foundation encourage all volunteers to fundraise prior to the trip – these funds help them with these projects. We have set ourselves an ambitious target because of the benefit of such projects, any support your businesses can offer – big or small, would be greatly appreciated!
