Tidal is an acronym for Trusted Intuitive Direct Accredited Learning.

As our area’s highest rated Ofqual regulated First Aid training providers, we teach innovative, engaging and gold standard first aid training throughout the UK to give learners the skills and confidence to act in a medical emergency – be that in or out of the workplace.

Understanding risk is inherent part of everyday life, it can be mitigated through training, education, skills and knowledge. Precise and fit for purpose first aid training helps employees to be more aware of safety in the workplace and leads to a reduced number of accident and injuries. We believe that learning the skills needed to help someone in the event of an accident, injury or emergency are universal life skills and beneficial to all.

In the workplace, fit and proper first aid training supports the legal requirement for adequate first aid provision in The Health and Safety Executive guidelines as set out in The Health and Safety Act (First Aid) Act 1981. Ensuring precise and robust compliance also supports the wider health and safety framework and helps to build a solid infrastructure to support employees should they become ill or injured at work.

All our first aid training courses are fully accredited and nationally recognised qualifications through Qualsafe Awards, regulated by Ofqual. We demonstrate the highest standards of quality assurance, Centre policy and procedures – all of which focus on giving our clients and learners the best in education and training – and to have fun doing it!

Our training courses include the subjects of Anaphylaxis, Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work including requalifications, annual refreshers, Basic Life Support, Defibrillator and Medical Gases training courses. All of Tidal’s trainers are teacher qualified and experienced professionals including State Registered Paramedics and First Responders, sharing the best in knowledge and experience t bring these vital subjects to life.

Thanks to Tidal Direct’s Founder Director, Clare Seed, we are proud to support the foundations of Cheltenham’s not for profit and 100% voluntary community defibrillator campaign, Public Hearts. This CIC is dedicated to raising awareness and numbers of lifesaving defibs in and around Cheltenham. With 80 in so far, the Campaign goes from strength to strength. The campaign’s 5 year anniversary was celebrated by launching a funded cardiac screening service through Cardiac Risk in the Young for 101 14-35 year olds in April 2024, identifying 3 individual for referral. Clare’s work and interests centre around community and public accessible health care, advocating community engagement, collaboration and the benefits of great people working together to do good for those around us.
