Talent, Training & Development Award
This award recognises and rewards those organisations that invest in and upskill their people, they value continued learning, development, staff retention and talent progression.
The judges were looking for:
- Initiatives that support talent retention; continued learning and development.
- Details of training programmes and the impact they have had on staff productivity and motivation
- Measurable levels of success and evidence of outcomes.
Julie Tegg, Director, Employer Training & Apprenticeships from Gloucestershire College, took to the stage to say a few words and announced the winner! Gloucestershire College is a modern and innovative college which welcomes students working towards a wide range of qualifications with campuses in Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Forest of Dean. A career-focused provider of further and higher education, the college offers accredited courses, technical training, apprenticeships, traineeships and post-16 education across a diverse range of subjects; alongside vocational and recreational evening courses for Adults.

Cosgrove & Drew were stablished in 2013 and the business has grown from a two-man start-up in Bristol, to an industry heavyweight employing 48 people committed to employer excellence.
They are proud of their high staff retention and reputation for a supportive and progressive culture.
They have a 2 year staff satisfaction rate of 96% and an average retention rate of 92%.
In 2022 they launched a company-wide training and development pathway Skill Build, enabling every single member of the Cosgrove & Drew team to reach their full potential.
