Samantha Rawlings, Apprentice Software Engineer
I have been working as an Apprentice Software Engineer at Savient Ltd for nearly a month now and am looking forward to working on the areas that I will need to complete as part of my apprenticeship. So far, I have been given the opportunity to fix any outstanding IT tickets relating to bugs or design alterations within our team’s financial database, Savitrace, and working on some digital escape room content for our outreach activity, planned for engaging with the local schools in the summer. The main purpose of which will be to help students gain more of an understanding of what a career in Cyber Security could potentially be like.
