Charles Russell Speechlys today announces its continued recognition as a top-tier Firm in the Legal 500 UK Solicitors 2025 guide, maintaining Tier 1 rankings across 21 different legal categories.
The firm’s Cheltenham office received a number of new accolades, with new rankings for the IT & Telecoms and Intellectual Property teams.
In addition to our top tier rankings, Improved rankings were also awarded for our Banking & Finance team and Real Estate Disputes team, where Emma Preece has been individually recognised as Leading Associate for the first time. Another member of the Cheltenham team joining the band of 12 ranked individuals is Real Estate lawyer Phil Webb who is awarded Next Generation Partner.

As a Firm, we upheld robust rankings across 70 different legal categories.
The rankings form one of the leading guides to law firms and solicitors. They reflect months of analysis and interviews, and the review of tens of thousands of submissions to “select the very best lawyers and law firms in the UK”. Legal 500 also canvasses the views of more than 40,000 GCs and clients for the rankings.
