Cheltenham Cricket Festival is the longest running Cricket Festival on a Festival Ground in the world. It was started by James Lillywhite in 1872 with the first match being played against Surrey and was won by Gloucestershire. No other Cricket Festival in the world has been played on the same ground for that length of time and no other cricket festival in the world lasts for twelve days or more.
Public Hearts Defib Campaign is delighted to be chosen as the good cause for this celebratory day and it marks the 3 anniversary of Bob Holt OBE first supporting Public Hearts. From 8 defibs to 80 is a tremendous achievement and well worth celebrating!
There are tickets available, and it’s open to members and non nembers! Here’s the day to look forward to:
10.30am – Arrival with Tea, Coffee & Biscuits
10.50am – Welcome by C2S
11.00am – Play commences
1.00pm – 2 Course Buffet Lunch
4.00pm – Afternoon Tea Served – tea and coffee served with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam
6.00pm – Play Closes
