This month we saw C2S Connections return, our quarterly online event that connects students to the business community.
At this event we had 125 students registered from Hartpury College. Upper Sixth Form students joined over 20 businesses to learn more about career opportunities in the region, build confidence, make valuable connections, and build relationships for their future career options.
Thank you to everyone that took part and a special thank you to Spirax Sarco for supporting this event. Supporting young talent is very important to them and this is just one of the ways they successfully connect with the next generation of talent and support their future talent pipeline.

This exciting C2S digital event, uses an online platform allowing students and businesses to connect digitally and move themselves around the room, moving tables easily providing the opportunity to meet many people and creates a real time experience, reducing transmission of COVID and the possible spread of infection within organisations and schools.
These online speed networking style events are designed to promote confidence, rebuild relationships, and showcase to young people what amazing opportunities and organisations there are in Gloucestershire and the Southwest. Making valuable connections whilst upskilling young people with digital skills, no carbon footprint, no costs to the educational organisations and fully inclusive! Helping organisations to connect to a diverse workforce of the future and helping students with future career opportunities.

10.30am – Platform open to the Businesses to set up and network
11.00am – Open to students to access the platform – welcome and Introduction to the event
11.05am – Sponsors welcome
Round 1
11.10am – All students access the platform to connect (each table will have approx. 8 students on, plus a representative from a business)
Businesses to introduce themselves
Round 2
11.30am – Students move tables to meet new organisations and introduce themselves for 2nd time
Round 3
11.40am – Students move tables to meet new businesses and introduce themselves for the 3rd time
Round 4
12.00 noon – Students able to move around the room and click to join any table for free session to meet new organisations of their choice for networking
12.30pm Event closes to students
12.35pm – Feedback Session for those that can stay on from organisations
12.45pm – Event closes
