At this C2S Connections we will meet over 150 Students from Cirencester College studying digital, finance and a range of business studies, all valuable employability skills.

In response to the current challenges businesses and the educational sector are facing to re-connect students to the business community, C2S launched C2S Connections, our initiative that works to combat these challenges and provide an inclusive, level playing field for all students from all backgrounds. Allowing them to engage and connect with future employers and improve their employability skills.

With a national crisis on skills and future talent available to businesses, it’s even more important than ever to connect with the next generation of talent and showcase your business and future opportunities, join us and secure your place and connect with your future talent pipeline.

This exciting C2S digital event, uses an online platform allowing students and businesses to connect digitally and move themselves around the room, moving tables easily, providing the opportunity to meet many businesspeople, a real time experience, zero Covid transmission, zero cost to schools, zero carbon footprint, good use of time and upskills students with digital skills, a win/win for all!

These online speed networking style events are designed to promote confidence, rebuild relationships, and showcase to young people what amazing opportunities and organisations there are in Gloucestershire and the Southwest. Making valuable connections whilst upskilling our young people with digital skills and fully inclusive! Helping organisations to connect to a diverse workforce of the future and helping students with future career opportunities and a pthways to stay connected on spocial media and future apprenticeship and career opportunities.

Agenda

9.30 am – Platform open to the Businesses to set up and network

10.00 am – Open to students to access the platform and join a table

10.03am – C2S Welcome 

Round 1

10.10am – All students access the platform to connect (each table will have approx. 8 students on, plus a representative from a business)

Businesses to introduce themselves, each session lasts 20 mins

Round 2

10.30am – Students move tables to meet new organisations and introduce themselves for 2^nd time

Round 3

10.50am – Students move tables to meet new businesses and introduce themselves for the 3^rd time

Round 4

11.10 am – Students move tables to meet new businesses and introduce themselves for the 4th time

Round 5

11.30 noon – Students able to move around the room for 30 mins and click to join any table for free session to meet new organisations of their choice for networking

12.00pm Event closes to students

12.05pm – Feedback Session for those that can stay on from organisations

12.15pm – Event closes

We survey all students and the businesses and share the feedback – it’s invaluable!
