The British Eventing National Championships come to Gloucester for the first time, with world-class show jumping, dressage and cross country riders showcasing their talents and competing in the ultimate test of horsemanship. Host Hartpury University and Hartpury College invites eventing fans to witness the trials in its private enclosure for an unmissable VIP experience.
After the British Festival of Eventing, normally hosted at Gatcombe Park in the Cotswolds, was cancelled earlier this year, Hartpury University and Hartpury College stepped in to rescue the event.
Now it’s your chance to grab an exclusive spot at a VIP event held at Hartpury House at its state-of-the-art Gloucester campus — with the opportunity to mingle with some very special guests.
Hartpury is inviting eventing fans to join a celebration of the sport on ‘Super Sunday’ and for £80 per person, guests will receive free entry to the event, as well as access to the VIP enclosure — promising some of the best views of all the cross-country action — to socialise over lunch and drinks.
The event will see the British Eventing National Champions crowned for the novice, intermediate and open classes, alongside the final phase of the NAF Five Star International two and three-star categories.
Kicking off at 11.30am on Sunday 11 August 2024, ticketholders will arrive to a welcome drink, followed by a delicious served buffet at 12pm.
After lunch, guests can come and go from the marquee at their leisure to enjoy the views of the cross country course, before heading over to Hartpury Arena to take in the show jumping — with a live stream set up in the marquee to make sure you don’t miss any of the excitement.
Continuing with the refreshments, tea, coffee, soft drinks and cakes will then be available throughout the afternoon.
