Some exciting announcements about the future of Aston Lark in Birmingham:
Mark Hayward joins as newly appointed Associate Director and branch manager of Birmingham, leading the commercial team of Client Directors, Account Executives and our 3 Team Managers as we deliver great service, high retention and growth. Mark brings 33 years of experience in local, regional & national management of sales, underwriting and claims at RSA, Catlin, Mitsui Sumitomo and during the last five years has held broker leadership positions at Berkeley Insurance Group and Kingsbridge Insurance. Mark has bags of enthusiasm and some great new ideas to support colleagues & clients.
Kim Spilsbury is appointed Commercial & Operations Manager, leading the team of real estate experts, mid-market and SME Account Handlers. Kim also takes on responsibility for branch operations, delivering process & efficiency improvements throughout the office via eligible Acturis e-trade products.
Scott Batty is appointed Corporate Team Manager leading the Senior Account Handlers who will focus on the VIP and complex clients. In addition to leading the team, Scott will continue his hybrid role as Account Executive & Senior Broker for designated clients and working with Neale Ingram on broking strategy, markets & placement, pipelines etc.
Simon Smith will be Rail Team & Facilities Manager, leading a specialist team of Seniors & Account Handlers for Jobson James Rail. He will also have responsibility for the Administration team, premises & IT etc.
We wish them all well in their new roles as Aston Lark future-proof the office to delight their clients and prepare for the next stage of their integration with Howden Group Holdings.
