Hazlewoods introduces ‘What happens after what comes next: preparing for a decade of disruption’

The last 18 months have clearly demonstrated that we cannot predict the future with clarity, but we can prepare by engineering adaptability and innovation into our DNA.

Beyond the immediate consequences of COVID-19 and Brexit, we can now look to the rest of the 2020s and clearly see that it is going to be a disruptive and disrupting decade.

As leaders, how do you prepare for this?

Hazlewoods is excited to welcome Graeme Codrington to explore the next decade of disruption and how leaders can add to their toolkits to prepare by spending more time developing the ability to rethink and unlearn, and building a culture of experimentation.

Graeme is an internationally recognized futurist, specialising in the future of work. He helps organisations to understand the forces that will shape our lives in the next ten years, and how we can respond in order to confidently stay ahead of change.

In this webinar, Graeme will delve into the tools employed by futurologists and scenario planners, including ‘future backwards analysis’, design thinking and ‘ridiculous ideas’, to help understand how we can begin to identify opportunities and threats on the horizon.

Hazlewoods Partner, Scott Lawrence said, “We are really looking forward to working with Graeme on this event and delivering thought-provoking and practical ideas to our guests.

“We work with so many businesses to help them to remain agile and competitive in their markets, and it will be fascinating to step out of the vision for the near future and understand what tools they can utilise to prepare for the longer-term future.”

For the past two decades Graeme has worked with some of the world’s most recognised brands, travelling to over 80 countries in total, and speaking to around 100,000 people every year. He is the author of five best-selling books, and on faculty at five top global business schools.
