One of the UK’s leading national healthcare training providers, has added to its rapidly growing team with the appointment of Lydia Scroggs as its new Operations Services Manager.
With an extensive nursing background, Lydia has previously worked in the RAF and the NHS, joining the team as an experienced and highly competent nurse manager.
Since embarking upon her nursing career in Staffordshire in 1985, she has spent the last 27 years in the RAF where she has built on her wealth of skills in personnel management, healthcare governance and risk management, leading small and large medical teams.
Until 2020, she worked in partnership with the NHS to treat both military and civilian patients at the RCDM (Royal Centre for Defence Medicine) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. As the clinical lead for military nurses and AHPs, she oversaw 160 personnel based in the Midlands and Oxfordshire.
Earlier this year, she joined Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust on a temporary contract as a COVID-19 registered immuniser and clinical lead.
In her new role, she will be tasked with overseeing and supporting the trainers in the delivery of bespoke, quality clinical, social care, mental health and learning disabilities training to clients throughout the UK, maintaining Tidal Training’s reputation as leading training providers in this field.
