Cheltenham-based recruitment agency HOORAY have been nominated for not one, not two, but three local business awards; Small Business Of The Year and Corporate Social Responsibility presented by SoGlos Business Awards, and Small Business Of The Year presented by Gloucestershire Live Business Awards. The ceremony for the former will be taking place on Thursday 20th October at 8pm, and Thursday 13th October at 6:30pm for the latter. The nominations have come as a welcome surprise, and they are thrilled that their dedication to ethical recruitment has been recognised.
HOORAY are a fresh, consultative recruitment agency with a social purpose, dedicated to putting integrity above profits. The nominations come 5 years after HOORAY’s inception, and despite the trials and tribulations of COVID-19, they have come through the other side strong and still growing. Despite the company consisting of four people this time two years ago, HOORAY now has 17 employees, all dedicated to providing thoroughly outstanding service to both clients and candidates.
As an agency that puts ethics and integrity first, HOORAY are proud to be nominated for two awards that highlight supporting the wider community. In January, Hooray committed to raising £3,500 for the Pied Piper Appeal, who make a difference to the sick and disabled children in Gloucestershire. They currently stand at 80% of their goal, having raised money via a Quiz night in April, a 10k run in June, a bake-off in July, as well as other fundraising activities.
