Joanna’s Slides: Apprenticeships + T-levels Benefits 2024
Our students on T-levels come mainly from Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon, but we also have students who live out in the Forest, Bishops Cleeve, North Cotswolds, Yate and out as far as Oxford. So, placements are needed for a real plethora of locations and employers. We would love to hear from any employers willing to contribute to the curriculum, assisting us with design relevant to local businesses which can be a way of employers recruiting a talented pipeline of students into work.
As far as apprenticeships are concerned, the new standards we have in development are –
- Compliance & Risk Assessment Officer L3
- Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability L4
- Junior Management Consultant L4
- Associate Project Manager L4
- Improvement Practitioner L4
- Improvement Specialist L5
- Community Health & Well-Being Worker L3
- Sports Coach L4
- People Professional L5
- Teaching Assistant L3
We would be keen to speak to employers keen to hire a new apprentice or upskill existing staff members to help retain. Our apprenticeships can be delivered far afield with the benefit of Teams meetings, but always willing to speak to employers wanting to expand their team, especially if they pay into the Levy pot anyway – if they don’t use the money, its wasted, so as long as they can afford the salary, then it’s a no-brainer.
