Neoperl is one of the world’s leading producers of flow regulators, which are precision-made parts that are fitted to taps, showers and boilers to control the flow of water. They make these components in their UK factory, based in Malvern.
Manufacturing is an occupation often associated with men, but at Neoperl that certainly isn’t the case. Not only does 50% of their workforce comprise of women overall, but they also have many inspiring women leaders in their business too. Introducing the Neoperl Coordinators:
Kerrie Tropper
Kerrie Tropper is the LOGISTICS Coordinator and she runs the department day to day looking after goods in and goods out. Kerrie started with the business in 2020 and in her current role in November last year. She came to the business with an NVQ2 in Warehouse and Storage and during her time at Neoperl she’s gained a forklift truck license, completed 5S training and a health and safety IOSH, all very relevant for her current role.
Malgorzata Falender
Malgorzata Falender is the company’s PLANNING Coordinator, and she leads the Production Planning team ensuring that all customer orders, from across the world, are produced and delivered on time. She started her journey with Neoperl UK in 2014 and is well qualified, holding a Masters degree in Production Engineering and Operations Management.
Fanni Kiss
Fanni Kiss is the QUALITY Control Coordinator whose primary role is to support her team in production by collecting and analysing data, problem solving and delivering improvement activities. As a graduate with a degree in early childhood education, she has taken a different path and has, like many of the other Coordinators, continued with professional development training in Excel, Kaizen and OGP to help with her role. Fanni has worked at Neoperl UK for 4 years.
Dovile Lapenkaite
Dovile Lapenkaite has been working at Neoperl since 2010 and is the NIGHT SHIFT coordinator. She has responsibility for FLOW TESTING and Quality Control and she has to communicate between shifts and support her team. She enjoys working at Neoperl, has found the business very supportive especially in providing the relevant training, such as Kaizen, 5S, Excel and OGP, to professionally develop over the years.
Magdalena Drewniak
Magdalena Drewniak is the ASSEMBLY Day Shift Coordinator ensuring that orders are checked, made to schedule and sent to the logistics department. The role involves problem solving, continuous improvement and training of new employees. Magdalena joined Neoperl in 2019 and in March 2020 was promoted to a Coordinator, well qualified, she believes that CPD training motivates employees, helps knowledge gain and the confidence to pursue goals.
