Joined by a group of senior leaders and decision-makers, Juice hosted an expert panel event last Thursday focussed on ‘Empowering Your People In 2024’.
The candid and informal event discussed the current employment market in the South West with open discussions around people strategy, employee engagement, culture, talent acquisition and people retention.
Held at Interactions new offices in central Bath, guests enjoyed listening to Neil Carberry, CEO of the REC, Tarquin McDonald, CEO of Bath Rugby, Dieter Wood, MD of Interaction, Emma Summers, CEO of Juice Recruitment and Richard Roberts, owner of EnRich.
Hosted by BBC News Reader, Kylie Pentelow, discussions were around the economic outlook for the year ahead, the labour market and trends and how employment is fairing in the South West fairing compared to other areas of the UK.
The panel also discussed the impact of a new government on talent and opportunity in our region and how our people strategies influence both productivity and team engagement. The panel spoke of the importance of office environments to create that all important culture, bringing teams together to create a feeling of purpose and place.
