Why 2025?
B Corp standards are going through a huge revamp, moving away from a flexible scoring model (pass score 80 out of 200) to a minimum requirement across all social & environmental areas model.
In my experience, the current flexible scoring model has proven to be an accessible way for companies to transform their business for the better and join a global community who wants to future-proof the business sector into a Force for Good.
The new standards will be rolled out in April 2025 and B Lab has suggested that new B Corps have until early 2026 to apply on the current standards. So, starting in May 2025 creates a comfortable window of opportunity for businesses considering B Corp certification to become certified on the existing model, giving you time to adjust to the new standards.

I have been an official B Leader (B Corp consultant trained by B Lab UK) since 2017 and have supported 35 businesses so far, 16 of whom have finished improvements and become B Corp certified, 7 of whom are in Gloucestershire (Stroud Brewery, Green Gourmet, Simply Washrooms, Marvel FMCG, Trainspotters, When in Rome, Good Small Farms). Better Business Together Accelerator
A programme to support 5-10 businesses through 8 months (May – December 2025) of discovering where you are on your social & environmental responsibility journey and collective action to improve your impact.
Types of businesses eligible for this collective accelerator are:
• Max. £5M turnover
• Max. 30 workers on the payroll
At the end of working together, you will have received:

Costs involved in cohort programme
Normally £500 (+VAT)/month per company May – December 2025, but for Circle2success members, this will go down to £400(+VAT)/month per company.
