Lilian Faithfull Care is a leading provider of assisted living, residential, nursing and day care.

We have four homes in Cheltenham, one near Stroud, Gloucestershire and two day care hubs.

The Board is looking to appoint additional Trustees to make a contribution to the governance of this prominent charity.

We are seeking people who are able to offer relevant experience and knowledge at a senior level in the following areas:

Construction / building management
Medical & / or adult social care
Employment practice

An understanding of and a willingness to train in the principles of good governance in the charity sector is essential. Trusteeship offers some challenges but many substantial rewards.

Potential Trustees will also need to commit time to Board and committee meetings. (The position is unpaid, but reasonable expenses may be claimed).

We want to represent the breadth and diversity of the UK and particularly welcome expressions of interest from a diverse range of professional and personal backgrounds. We especially welcome applications from people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities as these are currently underrepresented on our board.
