Early Careers
Kohler Mira, is made up of industry leading brands; Mira Showers, Rada and Kohler. The organisation has a long history of successful early careers programmes, and a huge part of its culture is the support and investment that is put into each associates development. The early careers opportunities are tailored to the individual and build a breadth of experience across a range of departments, with support in place through an apprentice manager as well as our ‘buddy’ system.
Business Apprenticeships
Our Business Apprenticeship provides you with the opportunity to experience the whole of our business from a commercial point of view. There are opportunities to experience Marketing, Supply Chain, and our commercial brand Rada Controls.
Our Business Apprentices study a part-time Project Management qualification. The course includes a mixture of on and offsite training, leadership development and coaching. These core skills will become fundamental as you prepare for a junior role within Kohler Mira.
Engineering Apprenticeships
Engineering Apprenticeships at Kohler Mira offer you the chance to study and rotate through our engineering functions from Manufacturing to Product Design. This gives you the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills along the way, and discover which business area excites you most.
Engineering Apprentices will spend their first year studying at GET College, in Barnwood (Gloucester); here you will learn all the fundamental skills you will need to become a successful engineer. You will have the opportunity to apply your skills throughout your first year, as you will be onsite during college breaks.
From second year onwards, you will be based onsite at Kohler Mira, whilst continuing to attend to college one day a week. Once you have completed your Level 3 Apprenticeship, subject to performance and aspiration, you will progress to study HNC/D.
Level 4 Project Managers
For academic year August 2025, we are recruiting:
Level 4 project managers
Starting salary: £17K pa
Qualification: L4 in project management

Marketing

Your apprenticeship will last for 24 months, during which time you will rotate around different departments, working on projects that support your development and align to your apprenticeship with our training provider, The Learning Curve Group. You will be taught, and will put into practice, a range of business skills. You will be supported by a dedicated apprentice manager who will oversee your development, college progress, and ensure you are working on value-add business projects.
You will join an ever-growing cohort of apprentices across the business and engineering functions all focused on working towards similar goals. We encourage and empower our apprentices to strive for achievement with many of them having won awards at nationally recognised events for Sustainability, and Contact Centre contributions, and recognition awards through their colleges.

Successful applicants can expect to attend an assessment centre in March 2025.
L3 Engineering Technicians
For academic year August 2025, we are recruiting:
L3 Engineering Technicians
Starting salary: £15K
Qualification: L3 Technical Certificate in engineering
Description:
You will learn and obtain experience in the fundamentals of either mechanical or electrical engineering or a combination of the two, primarily through training at GET College* in your first year, and through onsite placements. From second year onwards, you will continue to study part-time.
Your apprenticeship will last for a minimum of 3 years, during which time you will rotate around the wide range of engineering teams across our business in Cheltenham.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will be taught and put into practice a range of engineering skills. You will be supported by a dedicated apprentice manager who will oversee your development, college progress, and ensure you are working on value-add business projects.
You will join an ever-growing cohort of apprentices across the business and engineering function all focused on working towards similar goals. We encourage and empower our apprentices to strive for achievement with many of them winning awards at Nationally recognised events for Sustainability and Contact Centre contributions, and recognition awards through their colleges.
Whilst in the business, you will undertake a series of objective training placements in different departments working on initial design all the way through to manufacture and distribution.

L6 Manufacturing Degree Engineer

L6 Manufacturing Degree Engineer
Starting salary: £20K
Qualification: BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with Manufacturing
Description:
You will learn and obtain experience in the fundamentals of Manufacturing and Design engineering, primarily through training at the University of West England (UWE) in Bristol, and through onsite placements at Kohler Mira.
Your apprenticeship will last for approximately 4 years, during which time you will rotate around the wide range of engineering teams across our business.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will be taught and put into practice a range of engineering skills. You will be supported by a dedicated apprentice manager who will oversee your development, college progress, and ensure you are working on value-add business projects.
