The Cheltenham BID (Business Improvement District) started operating in August 2016.
Business Improvement Districts deliver a range of projects that benefit businesses in a defined area. In Cheltenham, the Business Improvement District zone covers the town centre, including the High Street, The Promenade, Montpellier and The Brewery Quarter.
The BID will run for a further four years and eight months, at which point another ballot would need to be held for it to continue.
In its Business Plan for 2021-2026, Cheltenham BID pledged to introduce projects in four key areas. Business Support, Marketing and Promotion, Town Centre Events, and Townscape Enhancements.
