About the role…
As a Senior Technical Officer you'll be providing support to the Manager with regard to the provision of good quality private sector housing throughout the Borough.
The role includes undertaking a range of specialist duties towards improving private sector housing and carrying out the Council's responsibilities under the Housing Act and other relevant legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out inspections of properties and houses in multiple occupation for the purpose of enforcement action
• To assess and process referrals and applications for Disabled Facilities Grants

We’re looking for a Planning Enforcement and Compliance Support Officer to join our planning team and play a key role in supporting the enforcement and compliance functions that protect and enhance our borough.

As part of the enforcement team, you’ll:
- Be the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring smooth workflow management.
