The Role
The role of the Administration Apprentice is to provide admin support for various departments across the business including FSN (Fire, Security and Networks), Technology, and finance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide general admin support to the Strategic Administration team and other departments where necessary
Assist with invoice processes and obtaining purchase orders for completed jobs
Sending out job cards for FSN to ensure correct billing
Answer and log telephone calls, including escalation to the appropriate person where necessary
Booking of accommodation and travel where needed for Project Managers, Field Line Managers and Engineers
Person Specification
Essential
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
Good knowledge of MS products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and confident using IT software
Good organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise
Willingness to learn new skills and ability to assimilate new information
Desirable
Previous experience of customer service
Previous experience of general administration
