Responsibilities:

• Managing and undertaking statutory audits and being involved in all stages of the audit process from planning to completion.
• Showing initiative and taking responsibility for management of the audit and your team to ensure completion within the agreed budget.

Purpose of the role:

• As a qualified Accountant, Assistant Managers in our Audit division are required to lead teams on a range of Audit assignments. This role requires a particular specialism in corporates.
• To adhere to deadlines, including prompt notification to the partner where problems are likely to arise or as they arise on each assignment.
• Can identify where other experts in the firm can provide relevant services to respond to client business needs.
• Manage work in progress and billing on client assignments.
• Undertake additional duties as reasonably required.
• Experience in working with complex groups, reporting structures and liaising with component auditors is highly desirable.

Technical skills, experience & knowledge:

• Able to provide practical, proactive business advice for clients, while referring more significant or challenging control issues to the partner.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of business cycle controls, recognising the audit risks and business implications where controls are absent, ineffective, or inefficient.

Required Qualifications:

• CCAB body membership, eg ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, ICAI, AICPA.
• Ensures adequate CPD is undertaken in relevant disciplines/client sectors.

About the role:

You will be responsible for the delivery of client-based assignments, ensuring the team’s audit work and reporting is of high quality. This role will include leading and coaching team members as well as managing relationships with clients. The person in this role will also contribute to the success of our business unit, which will involve wider business and people development.

The Role Requirements:

• Studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification
• Significant auditing and accounting experience (ideally UKGAAP)
• Experience of corporates desirable
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and ideally Caseware
• A passion for client service

• Although the majority of your time will be spent servicing clients in and around the Cheltenham area, at times, there is a requirement to support the other UK offices. A willingness to travel is essential.

About the Role:

• You will be responsible for ensuring clients’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner whilst ensuring all opportunities for added value are identified.
• Assisting in the preparation of more complex statutory accounts and review of disclosures under a range of accounting frameworks, including FRS102 and IFRS
• Assist with the review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assisting with the preparation, review and submission of VAT and employer taxes i.e., P11D and PSA
• Assisting in the preparation or review of monthly/quarterly management reports for a range of clients
• Preparation of integrated cash flow forecasts
• Review of bookkeeping duties using a variety of accounting software e.g. Xero, Sage
• Preparation or review of corporation tax returns and ad-hoc advice as supported by our tax team.
• Client relationship building and assisting management with maintenance of client portfolios.
• Understanding client internal controls and where weaknesses are identified, suggesting improvements
• Performing on-site assignments/secondments at client’s premises
• Ensuring completion of assigned areas of work within the time budget and deadlines to the standard set and with a minimum of supervision by the manager

About the Role:

• You will be responsible for ensuring clients’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner whilst ensuring all opportunities for added value are identified.
• Assisting in the preparation of more complex statutory accounts and review of disclosures under a range of accounting frameworks, including FRS102 and IFRS
• Assist with the review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assisting with the preparation, review and submission of VAT and employer taxes i.e., P11D and PSA
• Assisting in the preparation or review of monthly/quarterly management reports for a range of clients

About the Role:

Reporting to the head of Client solutions development, the overall purpose of the role is to assist in the development and maintenance of analytical systems which are used by the Firm to service our client base. These are primarily on Alteryx and Alteryx Server but also other platforms and so a variety of programming experience would be a benefit.

Working with teams across the firm to deliver a solution will require understanding of the specifications and the needs of the users. Sometimes working to tight deadlines.

This may also involve liaising with other areas of the business to ensure a complete solution.

Responsibilities:

• Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Liaising with the Technical department regarding development and changes to firm wide analytical applications.
• Liaising with other members of the firm with regards to any bespoke requirements for analytical applications.

Job description:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join our growing team, providing a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual looking to progress their career with a recognised brand, in the business-to-business professional services market.

This full-time role reports to the Head of Sector and Service Line Marketing and will involve development and delivery of marketing programmes aligned to the firm’s strategy. Candidates will need a strong business to business professional services marketing background, preferably within accountancy, and be familiar with working in a consultative environment.

If you are comfortable working across all areas of the marketing mix, can work to tight deadlines and have a delivery focused ‘can do’ approach, this is the perfect role for you. The successful candidate will be developing and delivering marketing campaigns.

The marketing team is predominantly based in Crowe’s London office but collaborates nationally across all offices. Travel to other offices will be required depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute strategic thought and support delivery of activities related to marketing plans to maintain relationships, raise reputation and increase recognition of the Crowe brand, our partners’ specialist skills and services in our desired markets.
• Support the team in the delivery of comprehensive marketing projects to include activities across the full marketing spectrum.
• End to end event management for in-person and virtual events.
• Effectively build and manage stakeholder relationships through knowledge sharing and expectation management.
• Collate, edit, update and proof all core marketing content.
• Effectively measure and evaluate against performance measures and present back on all marketing activity, to help inform continuous improvement.
• Develop target groups through segmentation via CRM for effective external communications.
• Work with the CRM super users to ensure stakeholders effectively use CRM and develop appropriate reports to feed into marketing and business development activities.
• Work with the business development team to support sector proposals and client care programme.
• Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency and compliance in the development of all marketing content.

Develop an awareness and understanding of sectors and service lines to:

• Advise partners on potential marketing campaigns and programmes
• Write compelling, benefit led messaging for communications and marketing material
• Conduct relevant client and competitor intelligence
• Identify emerging trends to add value to conversations and marketing plans as well as update existing content
• Suggest awards that may be relevant for teams and produce the award submissions
• Write, edit and curate content for email marketing, the website, advertising, brochures social media and other digital content
• Communicate successes and raise awareness of sectors/services through internal communication channels
• Identify opportunities to collaborate and complement other sectors
• Provide prompts and direction on PR media comment and digital content campaigns relating to marketing priorities identified in each sub-sector’s marketing plan, working closely with the PR and Content team

Skills:

• Excellent track record in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns and programmes, including experience in all areas of digital marketing.
• Experience delivering virtual and in-person events. Knowledge of ON24 and/or Microsoft Teams is advantageous but not essential.
• Works with efficiency and enthusiasm with a problem solving and delivery focused attitude.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Proactive as well as responsive and not afraid to positively challenge ideas to achieve maximum impact.
• Excellent organisation and project management skills with the ability to multitask to a high standard to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree level education in marketing or CIM qualified. We are open to candidates who do not have these qualifications, if they have proven relevant experience or are undertaking a qualification.
• Previous professional services experience is desired, preferably in accountancy.
