We are recruiting an experienced and dynamic Renewables Surveyor. The employee will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of solar projects through to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of solar energy systems. The person will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and in line with Hewer values.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the planning and execution of solar projects, including residential and commercial installations.

· Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess the properties for installations

· Complete and onsite drawing and schematic

· Prepare detailed survey reports, including system specifications & installation plans.

· Develop projects, quotes, budgets, and resource plans

· Monitor project progress and be able to carry out the MCS process once trained

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project

· Conduct site assessments

· Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

· Oversee the design and engineering of solar PV systems, including system sizing, layout, and electrical design.

· Implement and enforce quality control and safety protocols.

· Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

· Conduct regular post site inspections and audits to carry out quality checks and compliance to MCS standards and best practices.

· Address any issues or non-conformities promptly and effectively.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation of all survey activities and client interactions.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar project management

· Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as NICEIC, and local building regulations.

· Familiarity with the MCS process

This role will consist of servicing and repairs to the central heating system. Key Responsibilities include:

Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic boilers and heating systems in military homes across the region.
Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with families to meet the required quality standards and KPI’s.
Communicate updates and progress of work to the scheduling teams, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually for PPM’s and reactive breakdowns.
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during daily work.
Comply with van stock and reactive repair parts ordering processes, ensuring relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements and to ensure a first time fix rate is maintained.
