Founded in 1986
Lakes Showering Spaces was founded by father and son duo Alan & Robin Craddock in 1986.
Today, Lakes is still an independent, family run business with a strong reputation for quality, first class customer service, commitment to quick delivery and innovative solutions.
Continuous Innovation
Lakes are market leaders in glass innovation.
Two of our most innovative products include AllClear® coating and PureVueHD low-iron glass. These innovations have helped our showering spaces to develop a reputation for being exceptional quality, high performing products, further evidenced by winning three consecutive ‘Best Bathroom Brand – BMJ Industry’ Awards between 2018 and 2020.
Environmental Care
In 2019, we were the first company in our sector to achieve the Carbon Footprint Standard for our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.
Our actions have attributed towards tree planting schemes in Kenya as well as the planting of over 200 trees at a local school in Gloucester.
Lakes has also supported projects to protect the Amazon Rainforest, provide water purifiers in Cambodia and improve living conditions in Uganda.
Sustainable Design
We believe in products that are; ‘designed for life’.
It means our products are designed to meet the needs of everyday lifestyles. We have a responsibility to look after the environment, ensuring our products stay relevant and we use efficient, superior materials that will perform and fulfill the products lifetime.
Our efforts to achieve a more sustainable offering led us to becoming the first in our sector to introduce 100% recyclable packaging, removing plastic and polystyrene from landfill. Lakes were also finalists at the prestigious UFEMAT ‘Packaging Awards’
