Lilian Faithfull Care is a charity providing care, support and a ‘home for life’ promise for the elderly in Gloucestershire. Our charity was established in Cheltenham in 1946 by our namesake Lilian Faithfull.
With five care homes and two adult day hubs we provide a wide range of support to our residents and day guests including; day care, respite, residential and nursing care. Along with specialist knowledge of dementia and end of life care.

Lilian Faithfull Care is a charity, so we’re in care for the right reasons – not for profit. 97p in every £1 spent is put towards the day to day care of our residents – and all that entails.
A third of residents have little or no means of funding their much needed care. As a charity we financially support around 70 residents and subsidise their fees to the amount of £1.5 million a year. Through this subsidy and our ‘home for life’ promise, we will never ask a resident to leave our group of care homes for financial reasons.
