The company was established following the merger of three local firms that had been providing legal advice in Gloucestershire for more than two centuries: Winterbothams, A E Smith & Son and Penleys. Our heritage is important to us; one of our present solicitors is the great-grandson of Reginald Herbert Penley who retired from the firm in 1905.
