Almost a year (and a pandemic) on from the birth of OPS-BOX, the Group has taken its next step on the road to expansion. With over 50 years combined experience in the financial sector, Directors and Founders, Hayley Parker and Richard Neale cement this experience, with a natural move into the commercial lending market.
OPS-BOX are now working in partnership with Synergi Commercial Finance, giving access to a wide range of diverse commercial finance providers and enabling the specific requirements of individual clients to be served with a range of funding solutions. With the financial landscape in turmoil in the wake of the pandemic and an unprecedented level of government support continuing into 2021, there has been a natural tightening of appetite and lending policy, which has the potential to impact businesses seeking to access funding in the foreseeable future. Despite a myriad of options, it remains very difficult for businesses to access the cash that they need. Many don’t have the support available from their bank as they would have done traditionally, so realistically each business is left to work it out for themselves. Richard Neale, Director and Head of Commercial Finance at OPS-BOX commented: “The commercial finance market has evolved, with challenger banks, specialist lenders, debt funds and alternative finance providers all fighting for market share – with so much choice, it’s not easy to navigate the market and can be risky and potentially very time consuming.” “Traditionally of course, most businesses would have contacted their Bank Manager who would have approved the finance required and, in all probability then personally overseen the paperwork process through to drawdown of the loan. Sadly, for many, this is an outdated model and with the general demise of service and support from mainstream banks in recent years, alternative funding methods have been needed.” Hayley Parker, OPS-BOX Director said: “We are delighted to make this move into the commercial finance market. It is a natural step in the growth of OPS-BOX and enables us to further strengthen our offering to the businesses we support. We want all businesses to be successful, and that’s why we work with businesses of all sizes to develop their plans, their operational structure, and their strategic growth ambitions. Finance has a natural synergy with growing businesses and allows us to complete our full service offering.” How can OPS-BOX help? The constant changing of the financial landscape means that it is essential for lending proposals to be submitted in the right way. This “shaping” of proposals to potential lenders increases the chance of approval and can potentially lead to the securing of better pricing. With many years of writing credit proposals, the Directors of OPS-BOX are highly skilled at submitting proposals in a way to secure the best possible outcome. An intermediary can also provide an essential point of contact throughout the process, especially important with larger lends which can be complex in terms of engagement with valuers, solicitors, and other professionals as may be required. Using an experienced hand to act as conduit reduces the responsibility on the business owner to continually drive the process forward and keep all parties up to speed. If you would like support securing the right type of finance for your business, you can contact Richard on 07432 557966 or email enquiries@ops-boxgroup.com OPS-BOX provide a range of support services to help businesses of all size and type to grow and succeed. |
