With the Fresh: Art Fair in its sixth year, RRA Architects, who have been sponsoring the fair since the very first one in 2017, are very proud to be the Principal Partner for 2022.
Fresh:, which is now recognised as the UK’s leading provincial art fair, offers a rare chance to see originals by famous names like Banksy, Emin, Hockney, Matisse and Miró alongside exciting new talent and a host of established painters and sculptors – with pieces costing from £100 to £30,000; most at a more accessible budget. According to Mark Powles, MD of RRA Architects,”the link between art and architecture is apparent throughout history, with both disciplines serving to enhance a person’s immediate environment. It seems a natural partnership for us to sponsor the art fair. I think in the past art fairs have sometimes been regarded as a bit fusty and dull – Fresh: is quite the opposite and it’s wonderful to see how exhilarated and animated the visitors are whilst viewing the art.”
Fresh: Art Fair brings a huge choice of art together in one fabulous venue, the Centaur Centre at the famous Cheltenham Racecourse. This year’s fair promises to be the biggest and best event yet, with 50 of the country’s leading galleries exhibiting, including eight from the Cotswolds and also welcoming the Lysenko Gallery showcasing work by Ukrainian artists.
Fresh: Art Fair also hosts a series of talks and artist demonstrations throughout the weekend, with experts including Royal West of England Academy CEO, Alison Bevan, giving talks on buying and collecting art. There are 11 artists working and answering visitor’s questions throughout the weekend, too.
Fresh: Art Fair takes place from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 June 2022. Friday is free to attend and weekend tickets give art lovers the freedom to return as many times as they’d like for the duration of the fair.
For those wanting first pick of the art, there is also a Private View on Thursday 9 June 2022 from 5.30pm to 9pm where visitors can browse this year’s collection and make purchases while enjoying complimentary wine.
