We are very pleased to share with you information about the next steps of the Golden Valley Development. Our development partners HBD x Factory have been working hard to bring together plans for the land that we purchased and we are now in a position to share those draft plans publicly.
The first public consultation events are set to take place between at the end of the month and public announcements will be happening from next week. There will be a public exhibition held at Gloucestershire College’s Princess Elizabeth Way campus on two dates, these are Thursday 26th January from 4:30pm – 8pm and again on Saturday 28th January from 10am until 2pm. The feedback from these sessions will help inform our design process. There will be additional consultation and engagement as HBD x Factory move towards a formal planning application submission.
We will also be taking over the Cheltenham Pod on the High Street (outside M&S) with summary information all day on Friday 27th January. This highly visible and central location will ensure we reach a wide range of people both Cheltenham residents and visitors to the town.
We have written to residents of West Cheltenham in the same way as we previously did for the consultation on the Supplementary Planning Document. The flyer (see pic) will be distributed as well to promote the events to thousands of local residents and we’ll actively promote the events to residents in other media, too.
