These courses work with industry to provide relevant, valuable skills needed today, not from a text book but by research and working with tech and digital copanies to better understand what skills are needed today and in the future.

THE SIZE OF THE PROBLEM

According to government, in 2022, around 697,000 businesses have a basic cyber security skills gap. That means that people with responsibility for security aren’t confident carrying out key tasks within the Cyber Essentials scheme – such as setting up firewalls, correctly storing data, and dealing with malware. In Feb 2022, the government also reported revenue generated by cyber security firms rose by 14 per cent to £10.1 billion. Demonstrating that we don’t have enough skilled people in this sector and it’s going to get worse! So, what can you do about this – upskill and re-skill our people!
